Are you Having any success with Traffic Exchanges

Rather curious as to how many folks are really getting any good results with Traffic Exchanges. I am referring to actually getting sales and putting money into your pocket. Majority of people like to use them for growing their LIST. I guess that's great if you like playing the numbers game but how much money are you putting into your pocket with your list of names. Now who is making money here. The folks running the Exchanges. You pay them to have folks look at your page for maybe 5 seconds and move on to the next one. The way I see it, is that you have thousands of folks promoting the same exchanges, getting people to sign up under you, just so that they can do the same thing and maybe these people will be active enough to earn you some traffic credit. I personally think it's all hype when people advertise making thousands per week and not selling a product. There is no way I will spend money just to have my site viewed for 5 seconds and then see while tracking my sites that the same person views my site several times a day. Talk about wasting time and money. I use the Traffic Exchanges now as a way to see if my site is active and that people have access to it. This shows up in the site reports.

I can say this for certain, that people who have purchased merchandise from my website found my site doing a search for an item that they wanted and not from the exchanges that I have ads running in.

Social Networks are getting more popular everyday and more and more of them are popping up. The most popular ones have thousands of folks communicating with each other on a daily basis. Now, how many businesses have actually gained more business and have put more money in their pockets using these sites, it's hard to tell. Once again you have people out there trying to have you spend money with programs that will help you get contacts and make money doing it. I'll let you decide that one on your own. For me it's buyer beware. But the social networking sites at least gives your business exposure. I just wish some folks would hold back on the constant promoting all day long with the same messages. If I have you on my contact list, I don't need to keep seeing your ads day in and day out.

Just something to think about folks as you try to find ways to earn money on the internet. There are plenty of Guru's who are willing to sell you information that you can find for free by searching for it and there are plenty of potential customers out there who are looking to buy what you have, it's just a matter of getting yourself noticed. Getting those first couple of sales aren't going to be easy but remember that the internet is not the only way of getting your business found. Keep your options open.

Have a great day and much success to you all

US Military Veterans Unite On Twitter

Attention All US Military Veterans.

Let's band together and help our fellow Veterans. Use Twitter as a means to provide information and help our fellow Vets out. There are many out there who are not aware of the many benefits that they have earned for their service. If you find any information that has not been mentioned in the press or any other means of communication that Veterans need to know, post your information via Twitter.

Spread the word to all your contacts. Let our Veterans be heard. Post any ideas that you have for helping the homeless Veterans. I would like some ideas posted for finding ways to help these folks earn a living and get a new start in life. If you know of any organizations that help Veterans out in your area post them.

I know there are thousands of Veterans on Twitter, so lets join together and make our voices and concerns heard. Set up a favorites list of Veterans Only and keep in touch.

Military Veterans Twittering

Attention US Military Veterans, I am seeking all veterans on Twitter to join together as a team to help our fellow veterans out. Post any information or experiences you have had regarding your benefits that you have received. Many veterans have no idea of what they are entitled to. I always have heard horror stories about the medical care that veterans got, but just recently I started using the VA Hospital for medical care. I have to say that so far I have gotten the best care I have ever had. They are really concerned about our health.

So join me in banding together our fellow veterans and lets make our voices heard on Twitter. Post your ideas and concerns and just maybe the right people will get wind of what we are posting on Twitter.

Follow my postings on Twitter. User name is smkras
